The Harrison twins, Julius Randle, Troy Williams and Joel Berry will all play on ESPN this week in the network’s special coverage of the AAU Super Showcase from Orlando.
On Wednesday, Aaron and Andrew Harrison lead the Houston Defenders against Boo Williams, which features Troy Williams and Anthony Barber. Williams almost chose between UK and North Carolina in April before expanding his recruitment to include several other schools. He and Barber, the No. 3 point guard in the class of 2013, have openly discussed attending the same college next year. Both players are considering Louisville, but Barber is not being recruited by UK.
On Thursday, Randle’s Team Texas Titans will take on Each 1 Teach 1 in a matchup of two clubs from last week’s Peach Jam. Each 1 Teach 1 features UK targets Berry and Dakari Johnson, both standouts from the class of 2014. Berry averaged 7.0 assists per game to lead all players at the Peach Jam. Johnson missed the event due to an injury, and he is not expected to play in Thursday’s game.
Both games tip off at 7 p.m. and can be seen on ESPNU and ESPN3. Check Next Cats closer to game time for the direct link to ESPN3 coverage.
