Several UK recruits to be featured on ESPN

ESPN has released its programming schedule for high school basketball, and Kentucky recruits are well represented.

The family of networks will air 14 games over the next couple of months, starting Thursday with a matchup of Travis High (the Harrison twins) and Archbishop Mitty (Aaron Gordon). That game will be on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET.

Other UK recruits who will be featured include: Montverde’s Dakari Johnson and D’Angelo Russell (Jan. 5), Huntington Prep’s Andrew Wiggins (Jan. 20), Gordon (again on Jan. 21), Johnson and Russell (again on Jan. 21). A couple of games have yet to be finalized, and those could also feature UK recruits.

Here’s the full schedule (all times Eastern):

Thursday at 7:30 p.m.: Seguin (Texas) vs. Kimball (Texas), ESPNU
Thursday at 8 p.m.: Archbishop Mitty (Calif.) vs. Travis (Texas), ESPN
Thursday at 9:30 p.m.: Simeon (Ill.) vs. DeSoto (Texas), ESPN
Sat, Jan 5 at 6 p.m.: Simeon (Ill.) vs. Montverde Academy (Fla.), ESPN2
Sat, Jan 5 at 8 p.m.: Gonzaga (D.C.) vs. Salesian (Calif.), ESPNU
Sat, Jan 12 at 4 p.m.: TBD, ESPN
Sun, Jan 20 at 2 p.m.: St. Benedict’s Prep (N.J.) vs. Montrose Christian (Md.), ESPNU
Sun, Jan 20 at 5 p.m.: New Hampton Prep (N.H.) vs. Huntington Prep (W.Va.), ESPN
Mon, Jan 21 at noon: Lone Peak (Utah) vs. Archbishop Mitty (Calif.), ESPNU
Mon, Jan 21 at 2 p.m.: Oak Hill (Va.) vs. Simeon (Ill.), ESPNU
Mon, Jan 21 at 4 p.m.: Findlay Prep (Nev.) vs. Montverde (Fla.), ESPNU
Mon, Jan 21 at 6 p.m.: DeMatha (Md.) vs. Hudson Catholic (N.J.), ESPNU

  1. I’m going to be at the New Hampton Prep (N.H.) vs. Huntington Prep (W.Va.) game Jan 20, hopefully I can also make the Findlay Prep (Nev.) vs. Montverde (Fla.) game the next day as well. Should be pretty exciting to see some of the Kentucky recruits.
