Fans wanting to get a look at Andrew Wiggins will have plenty of chances to do so over the next few days.

UK’s No. 1 recruiting target for the class of 2013 will play in Huntington, W.Va., on Wednesday night before coming to Ashland on Friday and Saturday for the Boyd County Roundball Classic.

Wiggins will lead Huntington Prep, which is No. 4 in the latest ESPN power rankings, against the University of Charleston’s JV squad Wednesday at Spring Valley High School in Huntington (Directions here).

Fans who bring an unwrapped new toy to Wednesday’s game will get in for $1. The toys will be donated to Toys for Tots. If you don’t bring a toy, admission is $5. That game starts at 7 p.m., and doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday’s games will be played at Boyd County Middle School in Ashland (Directions here).

Huntington Prep will face Walnut Hills (Ohio) at 9 p.m. Friday. On Saturday, the Express play Arlington Country Day (Fla.) at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $10 for each day (full schedule below).

Boyd County Middle School seats about 5,000 people, and organizers said plenty of tickets should be available at the door. Those in the Ashland area wishing to buy tickets in advance can go to Boyd County High School, Boyd County Middle School, Ponderosa Elementary School, Borders Sporting Goods or Area Advertising.

Wiggins and Huntington Prep played two games in Benton, Ky., earlier this month. They also played a game at Scott County High School and scrimmaged at Alice Lloyd College in November. The Express have no more games scheduled in Kentucky after this weekend, though there are future contests in Cincinnati and Huntington.

Wiggins, rated the No. 1 player in high school basketball, is averaging 22.0 points per game so far this season. Huntington Prep is 9-0 to start the year. The Express have four other players who have signed with major college teams, as well as sophomore star Montaque Gill-Caesar, who is already attracting attention from Kentucky.
