John Calipari tweeted Sunday that he would be “going recruiting later w/ 2 games to watch. This will be my last day on the road so I can spend time w/ my team.”

He ended up in New Jersey, where he watched UK commitment Karl Towns and several prospects from Wilbraham & Monson Academy (Mass.).

Calipari got a commitment from Towns earlier this month. The 7-footer from St. Joseph (N.J.) High is one of the highest rated players in the class of 2014.

The UK coach visited Wilbraham & Monson Academy in October. That trip was to see 2014 center Goodluck Okonoboh and 2015 prospects Luis Montero and Djery Baptiste. ZagsBlog tweeted Sunday that Calipari was also expected to watch Wilbraham & Monson freshman guard Mustapha Heron.

Okonoboh is a former teammate of Nerlens Noel, and the 6-9 center is rated by 24/7 Sports as the No. 27 overall prospect in the junior class. (See his player capsule here).

Montero is a 6-7 point guard from the Dominican Republic. There’s a possibility he will reclassify to 2014. (See video of Montero here).

Baptiste, a 6-10, 240-pound center from Haiti, was recently listed as the No. 15 player in the class of 2015 by NBE Basketball Report.

Heron, a 6-4 guard, played well against older competition over the summer. (See recent video here).
