UK signees Andrew and Aaron Harrison will represent the United States at the Nike Hoop Summit in April.
The Team USA lineup was announced Sunday, and it also included uncommitted UK recruits Aaron Gordon and Julius Randle. The other players on the roster were Florida signee Kasey Hill, Arizona signee Rondae Jefferson, Notre Dame signee Demetrius Jackson, Duke commitment Jabari Parker, Arkansas signee Bobby Portis and Indiana signee Noah Vonleh.
UK’s other four commitments — James Young, Dakari Johnson, Marcus Lee and Derek Willis — were not selected.
The annual event pits a team of American all-stars against a roster of international players. This year’s Hoop Summit will be played April 20 at the Rose Garden in Portland, Ore.
The international roster will be announced at a later date, and it is expected to include UK recruit Andrew Wiggins, a native of Canada.
Shabazz Muhammad was the star of last year’s game, scoring 35 points in Team USA’s 84-75 loss to the World Select Team. Wiggins led the international team with 20 points and seven rebounds.
Nerlens Noel and Archie Goodwin also played for Team USA last year. Other past participants include Anthony Davis (2011), Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (2011), Marquis Teague (2011), Terrence Jones (2010), Enes Kanter (2010), Brandon Knight (2010), DeMarcus Cousins (2009), John Wall (2009), Patrick Patterson (2007), Marvin Stone (1999) and Wayne Turner (1995).
