UK recruit Aaron Gordon has added Oregon back to his list of schools, according to Rivals.com analyst Eric Bossi.

Gordon confirmed the news Saturday on Twitter.

The 6-foot-8 power forward cut the Ducks — along with Kansas — from consideration in November, when he narrowed his choices to Kentucky, Arizona and Washington.

In an interview with the Herald-Leader in early January, ESPN recruiting analyst Dave Telep said he wasn’t high on Kentucky’s chances.

“They’re a long shot with Aaron Gordon at this point,” Telep said at the time. “He almost has Pac-12 tattooed to him.”

With Oregon back in the picture, the Cats have yet another Pac-12 program to contend with for the San Jose, Calif., native.

Gordon, who is ranked by Scout.com as the No. 6 prospect in the class, is not expected to make a decision until the spring.

  1. I think its clear now that UK isnt on Gordons actual list anymore. By him putting Oregon back on his list that drops KY to 4th in the Gordon lottery. Personally I dont think that UK will get anymore recrutis added to its 2013 class this spring except for the signing of Dakari Johnson. Although that may happen the class coming in next year will be 1 of the best ever recruiting classes ever signed but as a team they will have to prove they are worthy of all the accolades that have been heaped upon them so far.
