Stanley Johnson, one of UK’s top recruiting targets in the class of 2014, announced a new list of schools via Twitter on Thursday afternoon.

The small forward from Fullerton, Calif., listed Arizona, Kentucky, Florida, Oregon, Duke, UCLA and Southern Cal.

Johnson had a list of 10 schools in January, which included five schools that are apparently no longer under consideration: Louisville, UNLV, Syracuse, N.C. State and San Diego State. Duke and Florida are new to his list, though he said back in January that he was “interested” in the Gators.

In addition to UK commitment Karl Towns, Johnson is one of seven players from the class of 2014 with a confirmed scholarship offer from Kentucky. The 6-foot-6 small forward is considered the No. 17 overall player in the class by Scout.com.

  1. Johnson is a must get for Calipari for the SF spot in 2014. He has all the traits that Cal loves in his wing players but he does need to improve his peimeter shot. Johnson would go a long way in securing his 6th #1 recruiting class.
