Scout.com released its class of 2015 rankings Monday, and UK recruit Stephen Zimmerman was at the top of the list.
Zimmerman — a versatile 6-foot-11 center from Las Vegas — received a scholarship offer from Kentucky earlier this month. He also has offers from Kansas, Arizona, UCLA, Michigan and a host of others.
Coming in at No. 2 was Mississippi combo guard Malik Newman, who also has an offer from Kentucky. Newman — the son of former Mississippi State star Horatio Webster — recently won MVP honors for the gold medal-winning USA under-16 team.
Haiti native Skal Labissiere made his debut in the Scout.com rankings at No. 4 overall. The 6-11 big man plays his high school ball near Memphis and was the first player from the class of 2015 to get a UK scholarship offer. Kentucky and Memphis are the two schools at the top of his list.
The other player in the class with a UK offer — Chicago combo guard Charles Matthews — was ranked No. 13 overall by Scout.com. Matthews has been dealing with a hand injury for much of the spring and summer. John Calipari visited his high school just before the end of the most recent live recruiting period.
Other players with known UK interest at the top of the new Scout rankings include Cheick Diallo (5th), Diamond Stone (6th), Ben Simmons (7th), Jaylen Brown (11th), Carlton Bragg (12th), Derrick Jones (14th), Mickey Mitchell (15th), Daniel Giddens (17th) and Montaque Gill-Caesar.
