Two class of 2014 prospects who have recently emerged as Kentucky recruiting targets trimmed their lists Thursday night.
Justise Winslow told ESPNU that he is now considering UK, Duke, Florida, Kansas, Arizona, UCLA, Texas A&M and Stanford. Winslow — a 6-foot-6 small forward from Texas — cut North Carolina, Houston and Baylor from his list. John Calipari called Winslow two weeks ago to offer a scholarship.
Abdul Malik Abu narrowed his list to 10 schools. The 6-foot-8 power forward from Boston is now considering UK, Florida, UConn, Kansas State, N.C. State, UCLA, St. John’s, Providence, Iowa State and Miami. Kentucky has not yet offered Abu, but the UK coaching staff is continuing to evaluate him during the final July recruiting period.
Scout.com ranks Winslow as the No. 13 overall player in the class of 2014. Abu is ranked No. 51 overall.
