The Big Lead’s Jason McIntyre posted a list Friday of his Top 50 players in college basketball for next season, and five Kentucky Wildcats made the rundown.

Freshman power forward Julius Randle came in at No. 3. He was followed by sophomore center Willie Cauley-Stein (20th), freshman point guard Andrew Harrison (37th), sophomore forward Alex Poythress (42nd) and freshman wing James Young (48th).

Kansas freshman Andrew Wiggins is No. 1 on the list.

Sophomore big man Montrezl Harrell is Louisville’s top player at No. 14. The Cards also have Russ Smith at No. 26, Luke Hancock at No. 36 and Chane Behanan at No. 49.

There were three UK players on last year’s list: 5. Nerlens Noel, 29. Poythress and 36. Kyle Wiltjer.

  1. Who made this guy “Mr. Know All” about who is the best ????
He sounds like someone wanting to make a name for himself.

  2. Luke Hancock ahead of Andrew Harrison. Yeah. Ok. LOL!
