It’s no secret that Kentucky will have a big impact on the 2014 NBA Draft.

How big? John Calipari has a very good chance of breaking his own record for most players drafted in the first round.

ESPN analyst Chad Ford released his “Big Board” for 2014 on Monday, and a staggering seven Wildcats were listed among the top 26 players.

“Something that’s never happened before,” Ford wrote in the introduction.

Former UK recruit — and current Kansas Jayhawk — Andrew Wiggins begins the cycle as the clear No. 1 overall pick. After that, it’s a whole lot of Kentucky.

Here’s the rundown of where Ford has each Wildcat placed (click on this Insider link for his thoughts on all seven players) …

2. Julius Randle
7. Andrew Harrison
14. Willie Cauley-Stein
20. James Young
21. Alex Poythress
25. Dakari Johnson
26. Aaron Harrison

A record five UK players were selected in the first round of the 2010 NBA Draft, a night Calipari famously called “the biggest moment in Kentucky basketball history.”
