The sides are set for this weekend’s all-star game featuring several Kentucky basketball recruits.

The full roster for the Under Armour Elite 24 game had already been released, but the company announced the actual team assignments Monday. The Elite 24 game will be played at 7 p.m. Saturday in Brooklyn and shown live on ESPNU.

The slam-dunk contest and skills competition will be shown at 7 p.m. Friday on ESPNU.

The only change from the previous roster release is the addition of 2015 big man Cheick Diallo, who was named as Karl Towns’ replacement. Towns — UK’s only commitment so far from the Class of 2014 — will be busy working out with Orlando Antigua and the Dominican national team.

Here are the team assignments for Saturday’s game (UK targets in bold) …

Team Coney Island: Joel Berry, Devin Booker, Cheick Diallo, Stanley Johnson, Chris McCullough, Emmanuel Mudiay, Kelly Oubre, Theo Pinson, Reid Travis, Romelo Trimble, Rashad Vaughn, Stephen Zimmerman.

Team Bed-Stuy: Chris Chiozza, Justin Jackson, Tyus Jones, Thon Maker, Malik Newman, Goodluck Okonoboh, Ivan Rabb, D’Angelo Russell, Myles Turner, Isaiah Whitehead, Justise Winslow, Dion Wiley.

  1. Why isn’t Cliff Alexander and Okafor in this game?

  2. Some top players in the past have had scheduling conflicts that kept them out of the game, like Karl Towns this year. I assume that’s why there’s no Alexander/Okafor in this one.
