UK confirms 2013-14 roster, including numbers

Kentucky posted its official basketball roster for the 2013-14 season Wednesday morning. It was the first official acknowledgement from UK that James Young and the Harrison twins are on the team and enrolled for fall classes.

The roster also shows freshman Dakari Johnson as a center, making him the first player in John Calipari’s five seasons at UK to be listed at that position. DeMarcus Cousins, Josh Harrellson, Anthony Davis, Nerlens Noel and Willie Cauley-Stein have all been listed as forwards.

  2. UK spokesman told me today that those should come out in the next few days. We’ll post them when they’re released.

    I just wondered if the Cats will have newer uniforms this season, whether for the entire year or in any ‘special uniform’ format?
