James Blackmon Jr. will host several schools over the next few days, according to Indiana-based Rivals.com writer Jeff Rabjohns.
UK Coach John Calipari will visit Blackmon — a shooting guard in the Class of 2014 — on Monday, according to Rabjohns. The 6-foot-3 prospect visited with Michigan State’s Tom Izzo and Indiana’s Tom Crean earlier this week, and he was scheduled to meet with North Carolina Coach Roy Williams on Friday.
Blackmon committed to Indiana as a high school freshman but backed out of that pledge last month. He was recently in Lexington for an unofficial visit and will return for his official visit on Oct. 18 to see Big Blue Madness.
He is the son of former UK player James Blackmon.
Scout.com ranks Blackmon Jr. as the No. 56 overall prospect in the senior class. He received a scholarship offer from UK shortly after his decommitment from Indiana.
