The No. 1 overall recruit in the Class of 2014 has narrowed his list to four schools, and Kentucky is still in contention.

Jahlil Okafor told Scout.com’s Evan Daniels that he has cut his list to UK, Kansas, Duke and Baylor. The 6-foot-11 center from Chicago is considered the No. 1 prospect in the senior class by Scout, Rivals and ESPN. He had previously been considering Arizona, Michigan State, Illinois and Ohio State.

Okafor has already taken official visits to Kentucky and Baylor. He’s scheduled to see Kansas on Oct. 18 and Duke on Oct. 25.

  1. do you believe there is any chance UK will get Okafor? there has been rumors going saying he might not attend the same school as Jones(Okafor’s Dad) and according to his coach he “has always talked about UK,” and he says that he would love with play with other big men such as Johnson or Towns.

  2. I think there’s a chance, but I don’t like UK’s chances as much as a couple of others. Wouldn’t be shocked if he and Jones go to separate schools.
