North Carolina wide receiver Braxton Berrios announced his commitment to Miami on Saturday.
Berrios picked the Hurricanes over fellow finalists Kentucky, South Carolina, Oregon and Tennessee. Rivals.com ranks the 5-foot-9 prospect from Raleigh as the No. 39 overall receiver in the Class of 2014. He is a four-star recruit.
UK was the only finalist that did not get an official visit from Berrios, though he did make a trip to Lexington for an unofficial visit in July.
The Cats already have four commitments at wide receiver for the Class of 2014: four-star prospects Blake Bone and Thaddeus Snodgrass and three-star recruits Garrett Johnson and T.V. Williams. UK is expected to add one more receiver to that group. The most likely candidate to take the fifth spot is Dorian Baker, a three-star player from Cleveland.
