UK fans will have a couple of ways to watch Friday night’s Big Blue Madness on their computer screens.

The event will be shown live at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN3, and UKAthletics.com will carry the ESPN broadcast on its website. UK Athletics is also planning a live blog for the festivities.

WKYT will broadcast the event live for fans in the Lexington area. Local affiliates in Hazard, Louisville, Paducah and Huntington, W.Va., will also have the event live.

ESPNU will show parts of Big Blue Madness during its “whip-around” coverage from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Fox Sports South will air the event on a delayed basis at 11 p.m.

John Calipari is hosting close to a dozen recruits this weekend, including Class of 2014 stars Tyler Ulis, Stanley Johnson, Trey Lyles and James Blackmon Jr.

Johnson, Lyles and Blackmon will be in Lexington for their official visits.
