Huntington Prep small forward Montaque Gill-Caesar will be in Lexington this weekend for an unofficial visit.
Coach Rob Fulford told the Herald-Leader that Gill-Caesar will visit from Sunday’s game between UK and Northern Kentucky in Rupp Arena. Scout.com’s Evan Daniels first reported that the Class of 2015 star was planning a visit.
Scout ranks Gill-Caesar as the No. 18 overall prospect in the junior class. The 6-foot-5 recruit played several positions for Huntington Prep last season. He was also matched up with fellow Canadian Andrew Wiggins in the team’s practices.
Ohio State, West Virginia, Baylor and Illinois are among the schools that have already offered Gill-Caesar.
Huntington Prep is scheduled to play two games in Kentucky next week. The Express face St. Louis Christian on Saturday at Perry Central High School as part of the Kentucky Elite Shootout. They’ll play Ezell Harding (Tenn.) at Frankfort High School on Sunday.
