Indianapolis power forward Trey Lyles made his commitment official by signing with Kentucky on Wednesday evening.
Lyles is UK’s highest-ranked player in the Class of 2014, according to Scout.com, which ranks him as the No. 8 overall prospect in the class.
The 6-foot-9 recruit committed to Kentucky last week and was the third player to sign with the Wildcats on Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period. Tyler Ulis and Karl Towns Jr. signed with UK earlier in the day. Devin Booker is expected to sign with the Cats on Friday.
Lyles wore a UK jacket to his signing ceremony (he’s on the far right in the picture below).
