Five-star shooting guard Luke Kennard was back in Rupp Arena on Wednesday night for UK’s victory over Eastern Michigan.
Kennard sat behind the UK bench with family members as the Cats rolled to an 81-63 victory. The 6-foot-5 prospect also visited Rupp for UK’s victory over Robert Morris last week. He was in town for the UK Alumni Charity Game in September and has made two other campus visits since receiving a scholarship offer in July.
All five of Kennard’s trips to UK so far have been unofficial visits. Prospects from the Class of 2015 will be allowed to start taking official visits Jan. 1. Kennard’s father has said several times that the family plans to start taking those official visits immediately in hopes of making a college decision sometime this spring.
Kennard also has offers from Duke, North Carolina, Louisville, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Indiana and several other schools. Scout.com ranks him as the No. 15 overall prospect in the junior class.
