The top-rated uncommitted basketball recruit in the country will play for a national audience Thursday night.

Five-star center Myles Turner and Trinity High (Texas) are scheduled to face Homeschool Christian Youth (Texas) on ESPNU at 9 p.m. and ESPN both rank Turner as the No. 2 overall prospect in the Class of 2014. He has narrowed his list of schools to Kentucky, Duke, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Arizona, Ohio State and Texas.

Turner has already taken an official visit to Ohio State, and he has scheduled an official visit to Oklahoma State for this weekend. He’s said in the past that UK might get one of his three remaining official visits. There is no timetable for his college decision.

Homeschool Christian Youth’s roster includes five-star forward Justin Jackson, who is North Carolina’s top signee for 2014.

  1. I hope miles comes to Kentucky. I know he would love it here. He would really thrive in the
Calipari lock down, shot blocking defense. Calipari is a master of developing young players.
He is also a great mentor for these young men, and makes sure they develop as men of integrity, and good citizens as well.
