BENTON — Miles Bridges — the latest high-flying forward at Huntington Prep — called Kentucky a “dream school” after Saturday’s victory in the Marshall County Hoop Fest.

Bridges scored seven points and grabbed seven rebounds in Huntington Prep’s 72-46 victory over Atlanta Sports Academy. The 6-foot-7 small forward has already been featured in SportsCenter’s Top 10 for a dunk during the pre-season, and he’s added several more highlight-reel jams during his first few games at Huntington Prep.

Rivals.com ranks him as the No. 18 overall prospect in the Class of 2016.

Bridges left his hometown of Flint, Mich., after averaging 10 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks per game as a freshman.

He already has offers from Michigan State, Providence and Iowa State, and he mentioned heavy interest from Kentucky, Kansas, Indiana and Ohio State.

Bridges said he grew up rooting for the nearby Spartans, but mentioned one other school as a personal favorite.

“Kentucky is a dream school too,” he said Saturday. “Just growing up and watching every good player come from there.”

Bridges said he’s been in contact with UK assistant Orlando Antigua. UK Coach John Calipari is expected to see Huntington Prep play against Trey Lyles and Arsenal Tech on Saturday night.
