Louisville Trinity forward Ray Spalding picked up a scholarship offer from Vanderbilt on Sunday, according to Scout.com national analyst Evan Daniels.
The 6-foot-9 prospect is considered by some recruiting services to be a four-star player in the Class of 2015. He’s ranked as high as No. 109 overall in the junior class (by 247Sports).
UK and Louisville have both shown some early interest, but neither schools has extended a scholarship offer.
Spalding was ranked as the No. 15 player in the state in the Herald-Leader’s pre-season poll of high school coaches. He played with the Kentucky Travelers over the summer.
Vanderbilt just offered Louisville (Ky.) Trinity standout Raymond Spalding.
