The schedule for the two-day King of the Bluegrass Showcase has been finalized, and the event will feature a matchup of two underclassmen on UK’s recruiting radar.
Luke Kennard and Quentin Goodin are set to face off Feb. 1 at Fairdale High School in Louisville. Kennard, who plays for Franklin (Ohio), is a five-star shooting guard in the Class of 2015 and already has a scholarship offer from UK. Goodin — a sophomore guard at Taylor County — is a highly touted prospect in the Class of 2016. John Calipari, John Robic and Orlando Antigua watched one of his games earlier this month.
The event will also feature Louisville signee Quentin Snider and Butler signee Kelan Martin (both of Ballard), as well as Tennessee commitment Camron Justice (Knott Central). Class of 2016 prospect Braxton Blackwell (Christ Presbyterian) is also a possible UK recruit.
Tickets for the event will be $8 for Friday’s games and $10 for Saturday’s session.
