UK Coach John Calipari and assistant coach Orlando Antigua made the trip to Huntington, W.Va., on Wednesday night to see Huntington Prep defeat Carlisle (Va.) 76-38.

Huntington Prep Coach Rob Fulford confirmed that the two UK coaches were in attendance for the game. Both Calipari and Antigua have watched the Irish play multiple times this season.

Junior small forward Montaque Gill-Caesar is one of several star players on the Huntington Prep roster. Gill-Caesar is considering a move to the Class of 2014, but there is no timetable for that decision. The five-star prospect would be one of UK’s top immediate targets if he joined the senior class.

Huntington Prep’s roster also includes 2015 forward Thomas Bryant and 2016 wing Miles Bridges. UK is recruiting both of those players. Thon Maker — one of the top recruits in the Class of 2016 — plays for Carlisle, though he did not play Wednesday night. He has attracted some early interest from Kentucky.
