UK basketball signees Karl Towns Jr. and Trey Lyles were among 20 high school seniors named to the Parade All-American team Friday.
The is the 58th year that Parade magazine has named high school All-Americans. Duke signee Jahlil Okafor was the publication’s player of the year.
Parade’s other All-American selections from the class of 2014 were Cliff Alexander (Kansas), Joel Berry (North Carolina), James Blackmon Jr. (Indiana), Trevon Bluiett (Xavier), Gabe DeVoe (Clemson), J.T. Escobar (Ole Miss), Daniel Hamilton (UConn), Justin Jackson (North Carolina), Stanley Johnson (Arizona), Kevon Looney (UCLA), Emmanuel Mudiay (SMU), Kelly Oubre (Kansas), Devin Robinson (Florida), B.J. Taylor (UCF), Myles Turner (undecided), Isaiah Whitehead (Seton Hall) and Justise Winslow (Duke).
