UK Coach John Calipari was in North Carolina on Tuesday to see Harry Giles, one of the top prospects in the class of 2016.
Giles missed his entire sophomore season with a knee injury but has been cleared to play on the spring and summer circuit. The 6-foot-9 power forward is considered the No. 1 player in the class of 2016 by Scout.com and 247Sports.
UK, Duke and North Carolina are considered the frontrunners in Giles’ recruitment, and he was also visited by Blue Devils Coach Mike Krzyzewski on Tuesday.
Giles is one of three players in the 2016 class with a scholarship offer from Kentucky.
