Huntington Prep forward Montaque Gill-Caesar will take an official visit to Missouri on Monday.
Gill-Caesar, who has been recruited by Kentucky, is currently a member of the class of 2015 and has previously said that he intends on playing another season of high school before heading to college. However, he could be academically cleared to play college basketball this season if he reclassifies to 2014.
Missouri Coach Kim Anderson recently hired Rob Fulford as an assistant coach. Fulford is the former coach at Huntington Prep, and his move to Mizzou could make the Tigers the favorite in Gill-Caesar’s recruitment and lead to his reclassification.
Fifteen of the last 16 predictions on Gill-Caesar’s 247Sports Crystal Ball page have been in favor of Missouri. Michigan State was the previous Crystal Ball favorite.
Gill-Caesar — a 6-foot-5 recruit — took an unofficial visit to Kentucky for a game last season, and Coach John Calipari has watched him play several times over the past couple of years.
Scout.com ranks Gill-Caesar as the No. 38 overall prospect in the class of 2015.
