Five-star power forward Skal Labissiere took his official visit to Kentucky over the weekend, as planned.

“It was great!” Labissiere told the Herald-Leader on Monday. “I saw why they are such a great program.”

The 6-foot-10 prospect from the Memphis area had dinner with UK Coach John Calipari on Friday night, took a tour of the UK facilities and met with players and members of the coaching staff.

Labissiere has already taken official visits to Georgetown and North Carolina. He will take two more official visits to Tennessee and Baylor next month, followed by an unofficial visit to nearby Memphis, which is considered the heavy favorite in his recruitment.

Labissiere is expected to make a college decision before the early signing period in November.

Florida shooting guard Antonio Blakeney is scheduled to have an in-home visit with Kentucky on Wednesday. The former Louisville commitment is also expected to meet with coaches from Missouri and Louisiana State this week. Look for him to take official visits to all three of those schools.

California power forward Ivan Rabb will host Georgetown Coach John Thompson III for an in-home visit Monday. Calipari visited Rabb earlier this month.

UK target Cheick Diallo took his official visit to Kansas over the weekend, as planned. The class of 2015 power forward will be at Iowa State for an official visit this weekend. He used an official visit for a trip to Kentucky earlier this year.

Wisconsin power forward Henry Ellenson took his official visit to Michigan State last weekend. He played a little dodgeball with the Spartans during the trip. Ellenson will visit Marquette — the presumed favorite — this weekend. His father told the Herald-Leader late last week that the family is still working on a date for an official visit to Kentucky. Those are his three finalists.

New UK recruit Isaiah Briscoe is hosting St. John’s Coach Steve Lavin on Monday. St. John’s was arguably the favorite in Briscoe’s recruitment before UK got involved recently. The New Jersey point guard is expected to visit Lexington next month. He does not yet have a scholarship offer from the Wildcats.

North Carolina small forward Brandon Ingram will host Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski for a visit Monday. Duke is seen by many as the favorite in his recruitment. Calipari visited Ingram earlier this month.

Indiana post player Caleb Swanigan had an in-home visit with Notre Dame on Sunday night. He will host Alabama and Michigan later this week. Swanigan has not yet cut his list of schools and has met with more than 10 head coaches over the past few days. Calipari and two UK assistants were in Fort Wayne to see him earlier this month.
