UK Coach John Calipari is heading into his biggest on-campus recruiting weekend of the year, with six highly touted seniors expected to be in town for Big Blue Madness on Friday night.

Many of UK’s other top recruits will be spending the next couple of days on other college campuses.

Cheick Diallo and Isaiah Briscoe will both stay close to home for official visits to St. John’s, which is also holding its midnight madness Friday night. St. John’s Coach Steve Lavin and all three assistants visited Briscoe at his school in New Jersey on Thursday. Briscoe took his official visit to UK three weeks ago. Diallo took his official visit to UK in June.

Caleb Swanigan will be at Arizona this weekend for that program’s Red-Blue Game, which is scheduled for Saturday. Swanigan, who has not yet cut his list or make an official visit, was in Lexington last weekend for UK’s NBA Combine. Five-star Arizona commitments Ray Smith, Allonzo Trier and Justin Simon will also be in Tucson on Saturday.

Skal Labissiere wrapped up his official visits last weekend and will stay close to home for Memphis’ midnight madness event Saturday night. Memphis is considered the favorite for Labissiere, who has already visited that campus several times and is expected to make a college decision next month. He’s taken official visits to UK, North Carolina, Georgetown, Tennessee and Baylor.

Derrick Jones was in Las Vegas on Thursday night for UNLV’s Scarlet & Gray Showcase. He has not yet scheduled a visit to Kentucky.

Ivan Rabb is not expected to make any recruiting visits this weekend, but he is supposed to narrow his list of schools to five. Kentucky, California and Arizona are all likely to make that list. Once that’s done, Rabb will start scheduling his official visits.

Antonio Blakeney will not be visiting UK this weekend, as previously reported. He is in the process of scheduling a new visit date for Lexington.
