UK commitment Sacha Killeya-Jones is scheduled to play in two high school games in the state of Kentucky this season.
Killeya-Jones — a 6-foot-10 power forward in the class of 2016 — will lead Virginia Episcopal School against top-ranked recruit Josh Jackson and Prolific Prep (Calif) in the Bluegrass Showcase in Somerset on Feb. 6.
That will be the second game of a tripleheader at Pulaski County High School, with the first game featuring Michigan State commitment Miles Bridges of Huntington (W.Va.) Prep and the third game featuring UK target Jarred Vanderbilt of Victory Prep (Texas).
The first night of the Bluegrass Showcase is scheduled for Feb. 5 at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Lexington and will feature Jackson, along with five-star prospects Trevon Duval, Terrance Ferguson and Billy Preston of API (Texas) and Thon Maker of Athletes Institute (Ont.).
Vanderbilt, Bridges and Jackson will all play additional games Feb. 7 at Pulaski County.
Cats Illustrated reported Thursday that Killeya-Jones will also play against Bridges and Huntington Prep at the Zip Zone Classic in Pikeville on Saturday, Nov. 28. The full schedule for that event has not yet been released.
Killeya-Jones committed to UK earlier this fall and is expected to sign with the Wildcats next month. He took his official visit to Lexington for Big Blue Madness last weekend.
