Five-star point guard Trae Young will announce his college decision Thursday at 1 p.m. ET.
Young — a 6-foot-2 prospect from Norman, Okla. — has narrowed his list of schools to Kansas, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. He was the first point guard in the class of 2017 to receive a scholarship offer from Kentucky, but the Wildcats signed highly touted point guards Quade Green and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in November and started concentrating on players at other positions to round out the 2017 class.
Kansas and Oklahoma are considered the co-favorites for Young, who has been named to this year’s McDonald’s All-American Game and is ranked by Scout.com as the No. 21 overall player in the 2017 class.
