There’s a possibility that the coaching carousel will result in two top-30 players from the class of 2017 ending up at Missouri, which hired Cuonzo Martin earlier this week.

Michael Porter Sr. — father of elite recruit Michael Porter Jr. — is expected to be officially named an assistant coach on Martin’s staff soon. As a result, Porter Jr. is expected to flip his commitment from Washington, which fired Coach Lorenzo Romar this week, to Mizzou.

But that’s not all for the Tigers

247Sports recruiting insider Andrew Slater has logged a Crystal Ball pick in favor of Missouri for top-50 prospect Jeremiah Tillmon, who is currently committed to Illinois, which recently fired Coach John Groce.

Tillmon — a 6-foot-10 post player from East Saint Louis, Ill. — is the No. 29 player in the 2017 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Porter Jr. is No. 2 overall in those rankings.
