PJ Washington is UK’s top-ranked commitment in the class of 2017, for now, according to ESPN, which updated its Top 100 rankings for the final time Tuesday morning.
ESPN now ranks Washington as the No. 11 overall prospect in the 2017 class. He’s followed by Nick Richards (No. 16), Jarred Vanderbilt (No. 18), Quade Green (No. 23), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (No. 33) and Jemarl Baker (No. 63).
Fellow UK commitment Hamidou Diallo is no longer included in ESPN’s 2017 rankings since he enrolled at Kentucky in January and joined the team for the second semester this past season. Other recruiting services have kept Diallo in the 2017 rankings.
UK is also still pursuing Mohamed Bamba (No. 3 overall in the final ESPN rankings), Kevin Knox (No. 9) and Mark Smith, who was not included in the ESPN Top 100.
