UK basketball signee Shai Gilgeous-Alexander jumped 23 spots in the final class of 2017 rankings from 247Sports on Wednesday, putting him in the No. 19 overall position to close the class.

Gilgeous-Alexander — a 6-foot-5 guard from Hamilton, Ont. — turned in an MVP performance at last weekend’s Derby Festival Classic in Louisville, scoring 29 points to go along with nine rebounds and six assists. He was No. 42 in the previous 247Sports rankings.

Fellow UK signee Jarred Vanderbilt also made a move in the final rankings, going from No. 17 to 8th overall, which makes him the Wildcats’ highest-ranked commitment for next season, for now.

Other UK signees in the final 247Sports rankings include freshman Hamidou Diallo (No. 10 overall), Nick Richards (No. 14 overall), PJ Washington (No. 18 overall), Quade Green (No. 30 overall) and Jemarl Baker (No. 83 overall).

The Cats are still recruiting Mohamed Bamba (No. 2 overall), Kevin Knox (No. 17 overall) and Illinois Mr. Basketball Mark Smith (No. 137 overall).
