UK basketball target Cameron Johnson will start his official visit to UCLA on Tuesday, then visit Oregon later in the week.
Johnson — a 6-foot-8 shooting guard — is leaving Pittsburgh as a graduate transfer and will have two seasons of immediate eligibility at his next school. He has already taken official visits to UK, Arizona and Ohio State.
UK got an unexpected commitment from five-star small forward Kevin Knox on Saturday, but the Cats could still use Johnson, especially if they lose freshman shooting guard Hamidou Diallo to the NBA Draft.
Johnson shot 41.5 percent from three-point range and averaged 11.9 points per game for the Panthers last season. He has not set a specific timetable for his next college decision.
