Five-star basketball recruit Cameron Reddish has narrowed his list of college choices to eight schools.
Reddish — a 6-foot-7 wing from Norristown, Pa. — is now considering UK, Duke, Villanova, Miami, Arizona, Maryland, UConn and UCLA, according to recruiting analyst Pat Lawless.
A major UK target, Reddish was one of the first prospects from the class of 2018 to earn a scholarship offer from the Wildcats, and he came to Lexington for an unofficial visit to Big Blue Madness last fall. He is one of the leading scorers on the Nike circuit, and the Herald-Leader was told a couple of weeks ago that Duke might currently be the team to beat in his recruitment.
Reddish said during an interview at the recent Nike event in Indianapolis that he’d like to take his official visits this fall and make a final college decision sometime before his senior season.
Scout.com ranks him as the No. 4 overall player in the 2018 class.
