Kentucky added another offensive lineman to its recruiting class of 2018 on Sunday with the commitment of Quintin Wilson, a three-star interior lineman from Cincinnati.
Wilson — a 6-foot-3, 290-pound prospect — is the No. 8 center nationally in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Rivals.com ranks him as the No. 5 center for 2018, and Scout.com classifies him as an offensive guard.
Kentucky hosted Wilson for a visit last month and beat out scholarship offers from Boston College, Duke, Minnesota, Virginia and several other schools to land his commitment. He is the third offensive lineman to join UK’s 2018 class, along with four-star tackle Darian Kinnard and four-star guard Marquan McCall, who could also play on the defensive line in college.
UK now has a total of eight commitments for the class of 2018. Wilson is the fourth from the state of Ohio, where Vince Marrow is the Cats’ primary recruiter.
