Three-star quarterback James Foster has Kentucky among his final five schools and plans to take an official visit to Lexington before making a college decision.
Foster — a 6-foot-3 dual-threat QB from Montgomery, Ala. — has narrowed his list of options to Arizona, Florida State, Kentucky, Louisiana State and Missouri. He has scholarship offers from all five of those schools, and he was committed to Missouri for six months, until backing out of that pledge last month.
Kentucky is looking for a quarterback after four-star prospect Jarren Williams recently backed out of his UK commitment for the second time. The Cats have also extended scholarship offers to juco QB Terry Wilson and Texas high school quarterback Matthew Baldwin.
Foster is the No. 14 dual-threat quarterback in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
