UK assistant coach Joel Justus was in the Atlanta area Friday afternoon to see Ashton Hagans, one of the top point guards in the class of 2019.

Hagans — a 6-foot-4 prospect from Covington, Ga. — had 14 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assists in his team’s blowout victory at the Holiday Hoopsgiving event. Justus also visited Hagans during the fall recruiting period, and he’s been on UK’s recruiting radar for more than a year (though the Cats have not yet extended a scholarship offer).

Kansas and North Carolina are among the many programs that have offered Hagans, who is the No. 2 point guard and No. 10 overall prospect in the 2019 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

UK has extended an offer to 2019 point guard Tyrese Maxey and 2019 combo guard Bryan Antoine.
