Trinity wide receiver Rondale Moore is expected to announce his college decision Saturday at the Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.
Moore — a 5-foot-9 prospect — is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 1 player in the state of Kentucky and the No. 17 receiver nationally for the class of 2018. He had 109 receptions for 1,478 yards and 16 touchdowns this past season for the state champion Shamrocks, also rushing for 537 yards and seven touchdowns.
UK, which does not have any in-state commitments for the 2018 class, has made a late run at Moore since his decommitment from Texas last month, but Purdue goes into Saturday’s announcement as the heavy favorite.
Recruiting analysts from Rivals.com and 247Sports on site at the Army Bowl this week have predicted the Boilermakers will land Moore, and Purdue has a clear majority of the picks on his 247Sports Crystal Ball page.
The Army Bowl will be televised live at 1 p.m. on NBC.
