Three-star running back Travis Tisdale announced his commitment to Kentucky on Monday, giving the Wildcats their fifth pledge in a week and yet another prospect from the state of Georgia.
Tisdale — a 5-foot-9, 180-pound prospect from Valdosta, Ga. — is the No. 37 overall running back in the 2019 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Rivals.com ranks him as the No. 40 all-purpose back nationally.
Southern Cal, Penn State and Texas Christian are among the schools that have been reported to have extended scholarship offers over the past few months, and he’s UK’s first running back pledge for the 2019 class.
Tisdale is also the 12th overall commitment for the Cats’ class and the fifth from the talent-rich state of Georgia. UK defensive coordinator Matt House has been his primary recruiter.
