Five-star center Oscar Tshiebwe has narrowed his recruitment to four schools, but most recruiting analysts agree that his decision is likely to come down Kentucky and West Virginia.
The Mountaineers will get the first shot at him during the fall recruiting period. WVU Coach Bob Huggins is scheduled to meet with Tshiebwe at his Pennsylvania high school Sunday, according to Stock Risers recruiting analyst Jake Weingarten. Baylor will meet with him Monday. Illinois is his other finalist.
UK Coach John Calipari will also surely visit with Tshiebwe early in the fall recruiting period. Kentucky is scheduled to host the 6-8 center for an official visit later this month, and he’s emerged as a top Wildcats recruiting target in recent weeks.
247Sports ranks Tshiebwe as the No. 19 overall recruit in the 2019 class.
