One day after Zeke Nnaji received a scholarship offer from Kentucky, national analysts are already projecting that he’ll ultimately end up with the Wildcats.
Recruiting experts Jerry Meyer and Andrew Slater both logged Crystal Ball picks in favor of UK for Nnaji on Monday, less than 24 hours after he hosted Coach John Calipari for an in-home visit to start the fall recruiting period. Nnaji is expected to visit Lexington sometime soon.
The 6-foot-10 power forward from Minnesota is the No. 30 overall prospect in the class of 2019, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He was also teammates on this summer’s Adidas circuit with Matthew Hurt, another power forward from Minnesota who has been a UK target for more than a year.
Nnaji had previous scholarship offers from Kansas, Arizona, UCLA, Ohio State and several others, and the Jayhawks had been trending on his Crystal Ball page prior to the UK offer Sunday.
