Five-star point guard Cole Anthony has scheduled the first two official visits of his recruitment.
Anthony — a 6-foot-3 prospect from New York — will take official visits to Notre Dame this weekend and North Carolina on the weekend of Sept. 28, according to Adam Zagoria. Anthony, who will play his senior season at Oak Hill Academy (Va.), is the No. 2 overall player in the 247Sports rankings.
Late last month, Anthony released a list of 12 schools that included Kentucky, Duke, Georgetown, Kansas, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Villanova and Wake Forest.
Anthony has told the Herald-Leader that he will wait until the spring to make a college decision. His recruitment remains wide open. “If anyone tells you they have a clue in his recruitment, they’re lying to you,” 247Sports analyst Evan Daniels told the Herald-Leader earlier this month.
