Four-star linebacker Jared Casey has decommitted from Oregon, and Kentucky is looking like the new favorite in his recruitment.
Casey — a standout player at Ballard High School in Louisville — committed to the Ducks in October, and UK was one of his top schools at the time of that pledge. He hosted Kentucky coaches for an in-home visit earlier this week, and his decommitment became public Tuesday night.
247Sports national analyst Steve Wiltfong and others immediately logged Crystal Ball picks in favor of the Wildcats, who hosted Casey for an official visit in September. He’s the No. 18 inside linebacker and No. 321 overall prospect in the 2019 recruiting class.
