Washington’s momentum in the recruitment of five-star post player Isaiah Stewart continued Thursday morning with a new Crystal Ball prediction in favor of the Huskies from 247Sports national analyst Evan Daniels.
Daniels, who is admittedly cautious with his Crystal Ball picks, has been correct on 85 of his 88 predictions within the 2019 class. Washington is also now the leader on Stewart’s Crystal Ball page.
The 6-foot-9 prospect from Rochester, N.Y. — who plays for La Lumiere (Ind.) — is also considering Kentucky, Duke, Michigan State and Syracuse, but the Huskies have been the subject of several prominent predictions in recent weeks. Those now picking Washington for Stewart include Rivals.com analysts Eric Bossi, Corey Evans and Dan McDonald, as well as 247Sports analysts Brian Snow and Jerry Meyer.
Stewart has not put an exact timetable on his college commitment, but he is expected to announce his school choice sometime soon. He’s the No. 6 overall player in the class of 2019, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
