Former UK target James Wiseman remains the No. 1 overall player in the 2019 class, according to ESPN’s updated rankings for high school seniors.

Wiseman — a 7-footer from Tennessee — committed to Memphis in November after a lengthy recruitment. He was the first player in the 2019 class to land a UK scholarship offer.

Two UK commitments made the ESPN top 100: Chicago wing Kahlil Whitney at No. 9 and Texas point guard Tyrese Maxey at No. 11. Pendleton County wing Dontaie Allen, the Cats’ other commitment for the 2019 class, was not included on ESPN’s top 100 list.

Kentucky’s top four remaining targets in the 2019 class are all on ESPN’s list, with shooting guard Anthony Edwards at No. 5, forward Jaden McDaniels at No. 6, forward Matthew Hurt at No. 10, and forward Keion Brooks at No. 38. Those are the only four uncommitted players in the 2019 class with scholarship offers from the Wildcats.
