Deondre Buford, a senior offensive tackle from Michigan, committed to the University of Kentucky football team on Monday.

Buford, a four-star prospect and a top-300 recruit according to 247Sports, picked UK over Missouri and Pittsburgh, his other two finalists. Auburn and Purdue were among the other schools that offered the 6-foot-4, 273-pound prospect. Rivals rates Buford as a three-star prospect and the 70th-best player at his position.

Buford plays for Martin Luther King, the defending state champion in Michigan’s Division 3 classification. The school has won three state titles in the previous four years.

He is the third recruit from Michigan in the class of 2020 to commit to UK, joining Oak Park’s Justin Rogers, a five-star defensive tackle, and Earnest Sanders, a three-star wide receiver.
