The Tipton Edits Twitter account, which is popular with top basketball recruits and is often the first place where prospects reveal their college decisions, dropped several recruiting predictions in a tweet Tuesday night.
Those predictions included two top Kentucky targets — point guard Hunter Sallis and small forward Bryce Hopkins — picking the Wildcats, who extended scholarship offers to the two players on the same night last month.
Sallis and Hopkins are ranked No. 6 and No. 30, respectively, in the new Rivals.com rankings for the 2021 class, which were released Monday. Both players could be making their college decisions in the next few weeks.
Other predictions of interest in the Tipton Edits tweet included Patrick Baldwin Jr. to Duke, Jaden Hardy to UCLA, and Skyy Clark to North Carolina. All three players have UK scholarship offers. Baldwin is the No. 1 overall player in the new Rivals 2021 rankings, Hardy is No. 5 on that list, and Clark is currently in the class of 2022, though he is considering a jump to 2021.
